"The Progressive Party of Armenia (PPA) is founded in 2000 (state registration 08.06.2001). The basis of the ideology of PPA is centrism. The main activity of the party is referred to the preservation of stability, firm development and the realization of the reforms. The free expression of wide layers of the society, the influence of the mass on making important state and political decisions as well as on the active participation of the civic society in the process of the realization of the reforms are considered to be obligatory."
