Sergey Bondarenko was born in Minsk, Belarus in 1956. After attending a special Art School he then enrolled in the Belarus Art Academy. Furthermore, he on to receive specialized training at the Art Academy of USSR with a famous Belarussian sculptor Zair Azgur.
His works have been acquired for the collections of art museums of Minsk, Moscow and Minneapolis. Many other sculptures are in private collections throughout many countries .
